The Verified Answer Bank

The short answer

The Verified Answer Bank is a set of approved answers that your answer system gives word for word on subjects where accuracy carries legal or commercial weight. Each answer is reviewed and approved by your team before it can be used, and it is held independently of any web page, so a site edit cannot change it by accident.

Where It Matters

Some questions have one right answer, and a paraphrase is a risk. These are the subjects organizations most often put in the bank:

  • Fees, pricing, and what is included.
  • Delivery, returns, cancellation, and refunds.
  • Eligibility and who a service is for.
  • Regulatory status, and who regulates you.
  • Clinical boundaries, including a clear statement that the system does not give medical advice.
  • How to make a complaint.

How Answers Get into the Bank

  1. Draft

Your team writes answers from your policies, or imports existing approved answers from a spreadsheet. AI can suggest drafts from your pages, without a live connection.

  2. Review

Each draft is checked by whoever owns the subject: legal, compliance, clinical safety, or the service lead.

  3. Approve

Only approved answers can be given. Suggestions stay pending until someone accepts them, and nothing is applied automatically.

  4. Give It Word for Word

When a visitor asks a matching question, the system gives the approved answer exactly as written.

Why It Is Held Apart from Your Pages

Web pages change for good reasons: a campaign, a redesign, a new product. An answer drawn from a page changes with it. The Verified Answer Bank changes only when someone approves a new answer, so the statements your legal and compliance teams signed off stay exactly as they signed them off.

When the system cannot answer a question confidently, it offers a person instead of a guess.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the Verified Answer Bank different from an FAQ page?

An FAQ page is content that visitors read and editors change. The Verified Answer Bank holds approved answers that the answer system gives word for word, and they change only through approval.

Can we import answers we have already approved?

Yes. Approved question-and-answer pairs can be imported from a spreadsheet file.

Can AI write answers for the bank?

AI can suggest drafts, but every suggestion stays pending until a person approves it. Nothing enters the bank automatically.

Who can change an approved answer?

Only people with administrator access to your answer system, and any change is a new approval.
